July 4th will mark four years that he has been gone. It doesn't seem possible it has been that long. I still think about him every day and I often cry, but I smile too..he was such a comedian as well as being handsome. I still feel his presence, outside in the garden. The mockingbirds have become impudent, not having him around, to keep them inline..One of them tried to eat an apple I had taken outside (for me!) Corky doesn't stay close to me like Horsin did.
I miss him. and part of me hopes that I always will....I do not want him to ever be forgotten.
