This creature is currently devouring my Early Girl tomato plants at lightning speed. I am maintaining an organic garden and need immediate advice on what to apply to rid myself of these pests. Diatomaceous Earth doesn't seem to be doing the trick. I looked up Black Webspinner on Google and only find the species without the orange in it, which is what I have here.

Image 1. I beleive this is a different variety of webspinner. Same size, shape, lifecycle, and can reduce lucious plants into bare stems.

ilv2grdn - It has been correctly identified as a Blister Beetle. Just a heads up! They suck the life blood out of tomato plants and peppers! Working on that now.
