Seen this little guy at Sheldon's Marsh in Huron OH.
I can not figure out what it is, any help would be greatly appreciated.

White-crowned Sparrow. Looks a mite odd with the yellow-toned belly, but I suspect that's a trick of the light.

We also thought White-crowned, but very rare for area, this time of year. Also think the yellow tones are coming from morning light bouncing off blacktop....

Agree it's odd for the time of year, perhaps a bird that was injured or sick at migration time and couldn't make the journey. I did a (fairly small) check for any potentially similar cagebirds, but couldn't find anything that matched.
