i think it is a moth that feeds on Black locust but what ever it is it is one strange looking bug I have a better pic so will look for it and meanwhile will go capture this one in a jar

I wasn't able to capyure that one as I attempted to do so he flew and had some bright markings on the wings oh well another time
It is beautiful Grits, I think moths can be as gorgeous as butterflies, but most of them fly at night so we don't get to see them.
