The same thing is on one of my apple trees. How do I get rid of it?
What is this on my grape?
I'm wondering if that could be the four-lined plant bug that flowAJen mentioned in the garden projects thread.

I've had trouble with them on my agastaches, lemon balms and shasta daisies. Seems they have a preference for plants in the mint family, but they seem to eat a lot of other plants, also.

Do the spots have a bump to them? Is so I think it's scab
Yank, by chance did you have rain followed by a scorching sun? Those look like burn spots. One of the JM got rained on and then the sun came out and some of the leaves look just like that now. I have to move the JM. :(

Grape Black Rot
Black rot is one of the most common and serious diseases of wild and cultivated grapes. The fungus attacks canes, tendrils, leaves, and fruit. The disease is most destructive in warm, humid areas. Before good control measures were developed, it was not uncommon for entire crops to be lost. However, it is now possible to maintain control of black rot using a combination of sound cultural practices, fungicides, and resistant varieties.

The spots are flat and on one of the apples and not the other - the same with the grapes.
