Gorgeous! You must have a huge yard. Are they all in the ground?
Is the bauhina an orchid tree?

No, not a big yard, just a packed one. The Bauhinia is a vine, not a tree. Took me forever to get it, never seen another one anywhere in the US. I have not seen its flowers, but its new leaves are a bright orange so even without flowers it is awesome. This is my second summer with it and it is a very strong grower, always covered in new orange leaves that turn green when they finally infold. I do have another Bauhinia that is a tree that has very pretty, unusual flowers that has new leaves that are a bright pink Bauhinia is a great genus.

David.
