I have two trades of two tubers each easy hardy Nelumbo nucifera -zones 5-9. Chawan Basu is a smallish Lotus and can be placed from 9-18 inches deep. It is suitable for small to medium sized ponds and will bloom in large containers like half whiskey barrels. This photo shows one in my garden growing in a large galvanized tub.
