Asclepsia seed source

Ashdown, AR(Zone 8a)

Had far success with growing a variety of milkweed from seed so now I'm ready to try some more. Need a on-line source for seeds or plants for a wide variety of different species.I've only found 2 and prices will stop your heart.

I don't know what species of asclepias you have grown, but http://www.smartseedstore.com has 4 varieties available and www.onaleeseeds.com has about 4 too.

Thanks very much. Smart Seeds had quite a few I'd like to order other than just milkweed.

tell me about it bigred :-D! the smart seeds site makes me lose my composure. i just ordered cornutia grandifolia (tropical lilac) and if i didn't have so many things going on right now i would just go out and sit by the mailbox until those seeds arrive.

If you want a huge variety of milkweed seeds from around the country, try Bobby Gendron's Butterfly Encounters. Great source and very reliable.

Thanks for the link. Still looking for seed source for a. variegata/Redring. Had it growing in my yard at one time but hub's kept mowing it down until he finally killed it.
