I have a four-year old hibiscus tree. I winter it indoors and summer outdoors five months. Today I moved it, in it's container, outside and two branches broke. I pruned those spots. Should I seal them and if so, how? I dont want disease to set in. Thank you.
I normally prune it in the fall.......indoors.

The current wisdom says don't seal cuts like that, let the plant heal naturally. So I'd leave it alone.
Thank you ecrane3.
