Can anyone tell me what might be happening to cause this & what I can do to fix it?
#1 Close-up
#2 Whole plant
#3 Whatever it is doesn't seem to be slowing down production! The plants are loaded with fruit.
I suspect that when my husband waters this is where he places the hose, but I can't be sure. Could that be the culprit? Due to the heat, we usually water in the early evening.
Trouble With My Lemon Cukes
My only guess is the leaves might be getting wet and not having enough time to dry before nightfall...with our nighttime humidity levels, could set up some ugly stuff?

I might try to sprinkle some horticultural cornmeal and powdered garlic under the leaves & branches and see if that helps. They're both anti-fungals. Also, I'm trying to convince my handyman to build a trellis for the vines that have spread away from the existing trellis.
