Hi ..
Just curious here .. had our 2 Westies in for their yearly check up .. no stool sample asked for, but we were givien worming medication (Droncit)
The 5 year old had no problem with the 2 tabs, but, our 2 year old really did NOT do well .. diarrhea and malaise for 2 days, then, POOF .. all better.
I called the vet's office and told them .. they were kind of 'ho hum' about it, lets face it, it was a $45.00 sale for them!!
I said I felt that stool specs should HAVE to be positive for worms before handing out the meds. True, we live in the country, but, our fur kids are in an enclosed area ..
Was wondering what others thought ..
I should add here .. Piper and Lilly had also been treated with Advantix a week prior to the worming meds ..
