Ground Cherries

San Marcos, TX(Zone 8b)

At this point, I have located five varieties of wild Ground Cherries at my land. I am going to sample each one this year, with extreme caution, for taste and size. I already grow many varieties so I am pretty knowledgable about the plant. If I find a decent one, I am going to propogate the hell out of that sucker.

Sounds like fun!

Yes, please let us know, and be careful.

lol I can't tell the poisonous ones from the nonpoisonous at all. We've got two kinds, i think, one that really thrives, but I don't have the nerve to put one in my mouth.

Best wishes...
