What to do with green vidalia onions?

I got my CSA box today and included are 2 uncured vidalia onions with the green tops still attached. Do I use it just like a regular cured onion? Does it taste the same?

It is just a green onion. Use as scallions.

This is gonna be a big scallion! sounds like i need to make a potato salad with it.

At that size you can use it for any purpose.
