I started a small area in front of my patio and planted some seeds that have been laying around for a while. Decided to see if they would germinate. Used compost from my compost bin to start the seeds in and now I have what I think is cucumbers coming up. Will they do ok and should I transplant them later because I do want to see if the seeds germinate. It has been about a week since I planted the garden. Dont the cukes have to be planted on hills to do well. It has been a long time since I did any veggies. I had to work in our garden when I was a child and everyday when we got home from school that was what we had to do and it was always a big garden. I always said when I got older I would never have one. LOL. Will send a picture of the seedlings when My camera gets charged up
