plant some aster's and they will come

i had such great luck with attracting butterflies to my yard last summer.i highly recommend aster's.

queenbeez, I second you on the asters. There's so much to love about them. Zone 4 hardy, late season blooms, the butterflies love them, and there are even some shade tolerant species that do well in my yard.

I've always had good luck with Asters as well :)

I am trying asters this year. I got a pkt of Tall ones, Crego mix. They are right by the back door, so i am hoping to be able to sit on the steps and watch the butterflies while I have my morning coffee.
Any one else have experience with these? iI wonder if i need to stake them?

Tall Asters would probably benefit from some staking-they'll be beautiful!
