Thanks. And happy birthday to SOJ!! Tomorrow I hope to post a few pics of birthday events. Besides a spring recital, we did cake.

Now I wonder where "the other site" is too.

It was a very eventful day for our family. My daughters had to finally make their college decisions tonight. Oberlin for languages and foreign study, and U Mass Amherst Commonwealth College for biochem, but maybe a self-designed major including kinesiology and Latin. Oberlin wasn't free but Umass almost was. I am so proud because I think both made their most thoughtful, difficult decisions and for good reasons.

Congrats on the end of the saga! Good luck to all of them. (I am imagining kinesiology in Latin...)

One psychiatrist I have met assures me that she WILL be talking Latin just getting through anatomy and then putting it all in motion. I just hope she isn't planning to stay in the party dorm, that 's the next worry.

Victor, we know the real name for DD2's school is Zoo mass, but it isn't up at the top in party school rankings anymore.There was a dorm that the tour guide pointed to and called the "social dorm." They didn't take anyone inside. She just better choose the honors dorm.

Seems there was something like that, I think it was first communion, exactly ten years ago, too. Ten years from now I don't want any weddings on my birthday. But seriously, life was never as good before kids.

Very observant,Jen. I'm allergic to chocolate but they realized that later, though in time for our party. So the maurauding teenagers at our house had two cakes to feast upon today.The cakes and decorations appeared while we were at a piano recital with DD2 and this bunch.

I guess I am a little late to the party! I've been traveling a lot lately so I haven't been checking in as much. Thankfully, I head home tomorrow and don't have anymore trips planned till August. Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone - and happy belated birthday to Rosemary!!
