Can anyone help me ID this cute little yellow bird? Caught it on my BirdCam. Never seen it in my yard before, so I'm pretty excited! Yellow Warbler Summer Tanager maybe?

CLOSED: Little Yellow Bird
Beak is wrong for a Warbler and wrong for a vireo also. The beak looks like a seed eater.
Looks like a Gold Finch
I have never seen a female Goldfinch that yellow and the males have black on them. Looks kind of like a canary but I am not a expert. I do know I have never seen one like that in any of my books

When I first saw the picture, I thought it was a Goldfinch, too. But the few shots after it were actual Goldfinches and they look totally different. It may be the angle of the camera, but it seemed a tad bit bigger than a Goldfinch. Plus, if you look... it almost seems like it has a orange tint on the underbelly.

I tried using my Audubon app and the All About Birds website, but am still stumped. The warbler was the closest thing I could find. But you're right... the beak does look wrong. I guess I'll just have to hope I can catch it on camera again. Perhaps get a better side shot! :-)
Good luck. I have seen some "tame" birds at my feeders
Don't know the size of your bird but try 1+ year-old male Painted Bunting (note the red on the belly) or a Summer Tanager

I did notice the reddish tint on the belly which is why I was certain it wasn't a Goldfinch! I'm not sure about the Painted Bunting. I googled images for a male juvenile but they seemed a bit more on the greenish than yellow side. However, I am wondering about the Summer Tanager! I found this image and think they look very similar. What do y'all think? http://www.weeksbay.org/photo_gallery/neotropical/summer-tanager-2--11-x-14.jpg
That would be amazing if it was indeed a Tanager. The Scarlet Tanager is one of my "hope to see one day" birds. So... I'm thinking the Summer Tanager would be the next best thing! :-)
Yep, Painted Buntings are greener than your pix look but sometimes colors don't show true on diff. computers or with diff. light conditions and (whoops), you did say that the bird was yellow.
Usually, the red color on Summer Tanagers starts on the head rather than the belly but there does seem to be a little red showing on the neck & head (?).

I vote for Summer Tanager.
Ditto to Summer Tanager

Well... if Resin says it's a Summer Tanager... then I'm going to consider this one CLOSED! Thank you everyone (especially OldNed and Resin) for your help! Wow!!! Knowing I had a Tanager in my backyard makes me super happy! :-)
I think you are correct. My first thoughts were Gold Finch but it didn't exactly look right. I agree that it is a female Summer Tanager.
