What is it Y'all call that big brown beetle that is drawn to lights at night and gets in your hair?? DW is sick of them thinks matbe Y'all send them here on the internet.I asked her "what like a virus ??? she said yeah LOL

Is that what we call a June bug (?) but it always shows up in March/April.
Tell her we will gladly share if only we could.
It does appear to be the season of the bug!

DH hates them too. I don't mind as they are slow flying and warn you to duck when they buzz by.
I think they are kinda fun to watch the dogs try to knock them out of the air at night with the porch lights on but they don't like the taste of them so they just roll on em ..

A friend used to have a goose that wouldn't be put up in the evening till she ate her fill of those bugs. She would stay out under the security light until 10 and most nights he had to herd her to go to the pen.
Maybe you need to trade those dogs in for a goose to keep your wife happy?
