More IDs Needed

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

#1 I have tons of these seedlings coming up. I have a Mexican Mint Marigold nearby and it's a prolific reseeder, but I don't think these are MMM seedlings. (I could be wrong, tho.)

#2 in next post

#2 This may have been given to me at a RU, but I don't know what it is.

Stephanie, I'm not very good at IDing seedlings, but the second set of photos look like Lantana to me.

I don't recognize the first, but not Mexican mint marigold, the second could be Lantana or Salvia coccenia.

Thanks! I'll continue pulling seedlings. Will let the other one live! LOL

the second looks like lantana to me too. I have so many seedlings coming up this year too that I am just having to let hang out until I see if they are friend or foe.

Hmmm....I've never planted lantana back in that bed. Wonder if it was bird planted???

you should be able to rub the leaves and see if they smell like lantana.

I don't think I know what Lantana smells like! LOL I'll let it grow and see if I get a salvia out of it!

The leaves have a real tatting smell. Not Monty or anything...just strong. If the leaves donor smell it isnt lantana
