This is my first time growing sunflowers. It's lots of fun, but when I opened a few of the seeds (which are not really ready, but I was curious), a couple of them had little worms in them. Yuck! I'd like to think that out of the hundreds of seeds, I just happened to get the only two with worms in them, but that's probably not the case.
I still have a couple flowers that have not even opened yet. Anything I can do to prevent them from being spoiled too? And does anyone know what these little worms are called? Thanks.
