CLOSED: What is this monster black bird? It was huge

This massive bird has white on the tips of the wings, top side. Odd whiteish color around eyes and white legs. We thought it was a buzzard but the pictures I found didn't seem to match this bird.

According to www.whatbird.com it is a Black Vulture common only to the eastern and parts of southern US.

Thanks! It's huge and much larger than a buzzard. I had to google to see the difference in the 2.
