What is a good companion for blueberries?

I have 3 raised beds, each with 3 blueberry bushes. One has been there a couple of years and I apparently planted a tint bit of yarrow with them and it is doing better than the berries. I have just put in the other two beds and want to edge them but don't know with what. Articles say acid-loving annuals, but I'd love a little more specific suggestion. I am trying to turn what has been my veg garden into a permaculture area, with peach trees and blueberries along with herbs and flowers. Help, please?

I planted some musk strawberries underneath my highbush blueberries. Apparently they love acidic soil too. I haven't gotten a chance to eat any of the yet due to my over abundance of squirrels and chipmunks...

I KNOW! I wait until the berries are perfectly ripe, and they're suddenly gone...

I planted basil and marigold in one of the beds, and thyme and zinnias in the other. I will report!

Regent Serviceberry has fruited every year so far in acid to neutral soil.
It is extremely drought tolerant but may lose leaves when young and very hot.

That is the only variety I have had excellent success with so far in my testing.
