Does anyone recognize this as a species of Coccoloba . If so, what species could it be? Found growing in the rainforest of Chiapas, Mexico, at 825-1100 meters elev.

Might be this one, Susanne. You can see the back of one leaf in the right of the pic has the dark veins like the one you showed.

Thanks dyzzypyxxy (dizzypixie?). I can't see the veins very well. It would help immensely if I have photos of the flowers. Nothing seems to be in flower when I"m in the field:(
So right, it would help to see pictures of the flowers or fruit. Take a trip in the fall?
