I have been thrilled and horrified by how many "prairie verbena" seedlings I have. So many are promised to people going to the RU but now I am certain I do not have prairie verbena seedlings. They are Tohoka daisies. I was out weeding today when in my amusement and horror I realized my mistake. I feel stupid right now!

BOY DO I FEEL STUPID!
Don't be so hard on yourself, Cheryl!! We all make mistakes, esp when it comes to seedlings. I, for one, won't mind a tahoka daisy!
lol It's all good...
Well it will have to be! Ah, its just annoying to be so wrong LOL. I have a few cuttings that are starting to root so its not all bad.

sometimes the bluebird of happiness flies over our excitement, lol. oh well. I am sure whoever you promised them too will be thrilled with the daisy too!
I love Tahoka daisies.
Cheryl, have you heard the story of the blackfoot daisy I got from Anna one year? Talk about not realizing you've traded the wrong plant!!
nope...?
Anna gave me a plant marked Blackfoot Daisy. Turned out it was actually a Gomphrena and I still get volunteers from that first plant!!
