Baker City, OR(Zone 5b)

Good morning everyone. We had a little rain last evening and overnight, I see from the weather forecast there is more comming so I will work on the flower bed between showers. I brought home some wild daiseys from the ride, they grow all over the roadsides and in the pastures there. I couldn't resist! They look like Shastas. I think (hope) they are perennials, I believe I saw some with old and new flower stalks, last years and this years? Also I collected some seed from wild foxglove that I kept seeing as I rode along. Those come in white and burgundy, the white is least common so I hope I got some of them since I collected from about 6 plants. The ride went really well, the weather was good until Sunday morning just as we were about to leave for home. This ride is notoriously a wet one so we were really glad to see sunshine. My team earned points on the 25 mile ride, finishing in the first 3 places which gave us a lot of bonus points, and also on the 50 miler finishing 8th, 10th and 18th. A finish in the top 10 earns the bonus points. Now we just have one more chance (this comming weekend)to win the season and it looks like the team is making an extra effort to get the job done. Now I need to get outside. Have a good day everyone, count your blessings.
