Because I live in the mountains of NC, water hyacinths do not multiple here so I enjoy them in my pond. 3 or 4 are plenty as the pond is small. I am hoping someone will trade a few with me for some cardinal flower plants or some for-get-me nots, or just for postage.

I usually buy one or two each spring, and by mid-summer I'm adding fistfuls to the compost pile every week. If you can wait, I'd send some your way in exchange for the cardinal flowers.

It depends on how early our garden centers start stocking them. We've had such a mild spring, they may have them in by the end of the month...but who knows? How should I get in touch with you?
