Lovely Dana.. as always.. so nice to be so ahead of us all... seeing all yours going so well .. helps in waiting... I could have had mine out for the last month... and they would love to be out... they will have to do with the door to the cool room being open all of the time... the foggy mornings are paradise for the brugs.. but given there's a chance for snow till after Easter or longer ... I guess I'll await my usual time like it or not...

Not too bad??! I think it's lovely. I continue to look for a cutting of Grand Marnier.
I have managed to get about 35 cuttings through the winter. They are mostly Santa Rosa, Mountain Magic and Solid Gold. The majority of them will be sold as part of a fund-raiser for the museum. Others will be planted there or at my house.
But I pine for Grand Marnier, that is, until I get hooked on something else.

I looked at pic's of that one to see what your so excited about I'm not seeing it go to BGI and look at the pictures there in there gallery of Grand Mariner there not impressive at all you might be after something your thinking is better than it is. I picked up a solid gold its varigated pretty plant don't know what the flowers are going to look like I just like the varigated foliage. Santa Rosa is blooming now huge flowers on that one in the heat we are having from a distance you almost think its painted lady. Herbstzauber starts off yellow and turns golden Yellow / Apricot this one starts off yellow then turns white then turns apricot yes it is pretty but when you buy a plant with the name you want that plant!

Rachel Island Flemming ? Is it not Flemming Island Rachel ? or is this like dictionary speak.

I don't remember what impressed me about Grand Marnier; it's been so long.
I also wanted a Charles Grimaldi and finally have one that looks healthy.
I do not believe Solid Gold is variagated. I have had them all along. They start out yellow and then turn orange. They tolerate a bit more shade than others. They are not huge, perhaps 5' tops.
