This is Avalanche which has bloomed at mid-season for daffodils here in Tennessee. The bulbs were purchased from Old House Gardens where they were described as "fat California bulbs." They have given a good performance.

Here is Sir Watkin. This bulb also came from Old House Gardens. It is newly grown in Holland, but an old variety.
