Unique Dandelions for your garden (non invasive)
Growing up in Northern Italy I have the best memories of picking up Dandelions leaves along the streets and in the wild fields with my mom and aunts.
We used to boiled them and eat them during the winter months. Just delish ...
Here people use chemicals to remove them from their yard ... so funny!
Dandelions are actually an important source of pollen for Honeybees, around here most people kill them, I just mow them once in a while, so the bees can get pollen each week.
Now I even remember more: I made necklaces with the flowers and if you slice in half the stems and put them in water, they will curl on themself ... I used to spend hours doing that ...
Most of these are hardy dandelions.
Did you ever try these dandelions ,? if so ..How did they do ?

The purple leaf was small and not very productive but was the most unique. The others grew like ordinary dandelions, very productive.
