I'm starting to see more Bucks around.......is this the rut season?

No ~ not normally. That usually occurs during the fall/winter during hunting season. Although it can occur more than once in a season, it is unlikely because it is triggered by colder weather and we haven't seen much lately.

More likely you are seeing them because season has past. Mating and hunting pressure are off so the bucks are beginning to move in normal patterns again. In this area, we don't see them during hunting season because they become nocturnal.

They are probably just awaiting your pretty flowers so they can dine... lol Kristi

Yup, they all tired of winter foods, crave the spring buffets, chuckl, btw, when they rutting the does are runnin more FROM the bucks, now they pg and lookin for pickles n ice creams deer style

No roses in the front yard........where we plant is the back that is entirely fenced in. But we keep the front a happy place for our deer friends.
