We have had some thunder storms here and I found this guy looking for a place to stay.
I didn't want to put him in with my red worms so I put him a small tub.
Wish I could find some more....

Forgive my ignorance but why didn't you put them into the worm bin you already have. I think they would make a nice addition.

The smaller red worms, in our bins are composting worms, this guy works differently, eats more leaves and dry stuff, lives deep in the ground, well that's my understanding. It is called a Nightcrawler.
I put him out in the garden.

Yes, nightcrawlers! I find them against the wall of my house when I transplant grass. They get to be a good size too. I heard the African nightcrawlers eat other worms... is that correct?
I don't think earth worms are carnivore.
