CLOSED: Corkscrew willow cuttings - it's that time again

Pearisburg, VA(Zone 7a)

It's the perfect time to do cuttings during Feb/March. I find they are best when using cuttings up to 1/2 inch diameter. I will cut them from 12 - 30 inches. Let me know what you want, how many, and what you have to trade.

These make excellent trees! Fast shade & bird havens

I trimmed up one tree today and will be sending out these cuttings tomorrow. I have several more trees to prune so let me know if you would like cuttings.

Would love to get a couple of cuttings of these, hopefully to get a tree for my DM and DMIL! What are you looking for in the way of trades? Right now, everything is still under snow here, but might still be able to trade something hopefully. :-)

One thing I like are these tiny planters. Another new habit I'll grow tired of.

Sedums, columbines, Agastache - sun plants.

Would you be interested in some cuttings from a Mezoo Trailing Red, or possibly a tricolor scented pelargonium or a NOID Christmas cactus (has white with pink flowers) or some columbine seeds (Songbird Robin, I think, but I can check for sure?

Kathy, Can I get some again? Can I send you anything?

Pearisburg, VA(Zone 7a)

You sure can. I just cut back 3 trees today and my arms are killing me. A former ebay customer purchased 150 cuttings, 22 inches long at 50 cents each plus postage. I'm pooped out.

I'm now looking into elephant ears - LOL so I like those, little pots like pictured above, sedums, or I'll do postage.
Dmail me! Let me know what size you want - long and in diameter. This guy wanted all cuttings to be pinky size and larger and all straight cuts. I personally LOVE the corkscrew part of a corkscrew willow -

Sorry about your arms. :( All that pruning will sure get to ya. I need to hack back grasses and take a bunch of cuttings to root and haven't gotten there yet. LOL

I'm not all that picky. I don't need huge ones and they don't need to be the same size either.

Do you want the smaller, finicky ears or bigger ones?

I'll have to hunt around and see what I can come up with. :)

Thanks Kathy.

Kathy, save me a dozen or so, and I'll work on what to send or can send postage, either one. Thanks! Doesn't matter what size, so whatever you have available!

I'm liking the larger ears if you have them. If not I will do postage.

skellogg,
I can do postage if you don't find anything today. I would love to clean up the mess I have in the yard.

I'll be back on here after I take the dogs to the groomer at 11:00. I'll have them weighted and ready. Let me know if you ladies find goodies or just want to do postage.

Michelle & skellogg - your boxes are going out today. I have them in priority tube boxes and I'll send you the cost by dmail for paypal.

skellogg, postage will do fine - no trade. I need to find homes for these willows.
Don't forget the 30 percent extra for paypal fees.
