This little plant (fern or fernlike) is so pretty and has a smell of Vicks or Winter green...my friend says witch Hazel but I don't know that smell. It is so pretty and really smells good.

Any help is appreciated. It was found on an old homestead.

Whitch hazel is a small tree/bush, that looks like Achillea(yarrow) to me but I don't grow it anymore and don't remember a smell.

I think she was really meaning Winter Green Alcohol as it has a nice smell like these do.

Yes when you crush it it smells great. :) I was thinking yarrow when I saw it but just wasn't sure. The lacy leaves are beautiful. The page says propagates through seeds but these have tiny rnners they make another plant. Very interesting both it and its smell.

Thanks all!!! :)
