A sub-adult Snowy Owl has been hanging around the Elgin Robertson Park in Rowlett for the past few weeks. If you want to see it, take the Dalrock Exit off I-30 and go south into the park. Drive towards the Marina and it's usually seen on the last utility pole before the big parking lot. The last Snowy Owl reported in Texas was over 10 years ago in Abilene.
