I know this topic is a bit premature, but here in Massachusetts, with the warmest winter ever, I can't help but wonder if I can get away with starting my seedlings earlier than usual and therefore, transplanting them earlier than usual, too. Anyone else wondering about this yet? If so, what factors will have the biggest influence on your decision?

Zone 6, Are you planting earlier than usual this spring?
I don't plan much change...maybe a couple days earlier. Spring here is usually not just a sudden and continual warm season, but a series of bumps and joys.
I'm not going to start earlier. March can be real cold and finicky weather wise.
But we've been REALLY lucky so far this winter! I love it! We needed a break after last year!
I'm only starting cool weather crops early.
here in utah weve had a really warm winter too.. we were bumped up
on the recent gardening zones..but i dont think last freeze/1st freeze are different..
i have lettuce going now..in a cold frame..and they are doing great..
im holding off on starting tomato seeds for another month..
