I've come across two plants that are used for snakebite. The one shown here looks like a morning glory vine. The flowers (not shown) are said to be small and blue, and resemble morning glory. The leaves are broad and slightly heart shaped. The vine is thin and rampant in open, disturbed areas. An important feature is the resin, which emits a strong odor of chlorine. It tastes bitter and numbs the tongue.
