cardinal flower seeds red lobelia)

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

I was cleaning up my gardens, and discovered that I had about 7 spires of cardinal flower seeds. I have saved them all, even strained them to get the trash out. I have several packets that I would like to trade. If anyone has Pennie Black (see my trading list) I'd like to trade that. Otherwise, I am just looking for things that like about 60% shade. IF you don't have anything to offer, I would be glad to accept a SASE.
Remember, cardinal flower likes shade and moisture, even a swampy site will work. Mine are planted on shady ground, but not very moist, so I planted them in a slight depression that holds water somewhat. Even though these seed are quite tiny, they germinate well. I got mine from the historic house that I have been involved with for 14 years through the local historical society.

Redrose, on the right side of you computer monitor screen, click on Plants. In the database, enter an inquiry for cardinal flower. You will have to scroll down to find it but it has all the requirements and a picture. These are spires of tiny red flowers that bloom in late summer. They are native here. They like it moist and partially shady. The seeds are tiny buy still germinate well if kept moist. I have had mine for 3 years, got them from seed from a historic house. If you want them, e-mail me.

Did I get seed to everyone who asked? I really got swamped and had some confusion as to who was who. I even recommended to Dave that he announce to everyone that when they trade, please use their DG name.
