Make sure which plant you are asking for. The question above is actually two very different plants. Hibiscus mochatas is a perennial, 4-6ft, flower are large dinner plate size. The pink variety is Lady Baltimore.
Rose of sharon is hibiscus syriacus, a shrub or small tree from 6-18ft, flowers are approx. 4".
If looking for the perenn., I got some last spring, they were small but the price was right, think it was something like 6/$10 ish. If interested I will try to find the vender for you. Kathy.

Thanks for the info!

I want any and all forms of hibiscus that can take a freeze and survive a hot summer! I can't handle anymore tropical hibs dying!

Please let me know the name of the vendor!

Thanks!

I'll get back to you. Am thinking they also had the tree form too. Info if in the car and I don't have any desire to get it now, lol, I got 8.5" of that white stuff this morning and I'm all warm inside, lol. Want some white stuff, could maybe ship, lol. Kathy. Just for info in the pix above the pink in the middle is related to hibiscus, it's a malva, shorter at approx. 3ft and all summer bloomer.

That's really pretty! I think I have some Malva seeds I got from someone. They are very old.....I wonder if they would still grow? I might give them a try!

No thanks on the snow.......Please don't even "wish" it on me......I'm quite happy with my 78 deg. weather. We do have a cold front coming in......43 Sat am!

We had snow a couple of years ago.....I'll pass, thank you!

I can gladly wait for the info.....there is no rush! I won't buy until later in the Spring when we have passed the chance of a freeze!

Stay warm!

Thanks!

I have a Lord Baltimore hearty hibiscus that is a great "parent"... It has produced so much seed that I cannot keep up! The seed is very fertile, and I have planted many "babies "around the yard. They grow from seed to plants to flowers in the same year, and come back year after year...

I did not save new seed last year because I have so many. I can do so this year for you, but you would have to wait until next fall.

I also have a pure white hibiscus, which is also fertile. The pink Lady Baltimore I have is infertile.

Would you be willing to take 6" cuttings? I will be glad to reimburse your postage on the red and pink baltimores!

I have some red seed I have to plant, so I will let you know if they grow. I wouldn't mind having them everywhere. I love them dearly!

Thanks!
