Everone taste is difference. I favor the middle eastern types myself. Less watery than standard zucchini. Have not tried a bad variety, but best performer thus far has been Profit. I have grown Alexandria,Barq, Basima, Clarimore, Cue Ball, Freckles, Geode, Istar, Magda ...

This year I'm trying Ananashyi Zucchini from Victory seeds. In the past I've had Zucchini Bianco di Trieste, Cue Ball, Magda, and the Italian trombone one--gosh, I can't remember the name! I'm kind of crazy....I liked them all!

I like Segev and Profit, both light grey varieties. Segev is parthenocarpic and can be grown under row covers.

I just ordered some I've never tried before: Early Bulam

This is a Korean summer squash hybrid nicknamed avocado squash because of its appearance. If you are searching for a summer squash to grow, this is the one! It is a vigorous vine plant that produces oval fruit with thin, glossy, light green skin and flesh that is similar to zucchini. They are ready to harvest as soon as 8 days after flowering. Ripe fruits measure about 4" in diameter and 5-6" in length and weigh about 14oz. The Cucurbita moschata vine-type plant is a vigorous grower. This hybrid delivers superior flavor—better than zucchini, say its loyal fans.

from Kitazawa Seed Co. Someone on the Tomato forum gave a link to some tomato seeds I wanted to try and to maximize the shipping I was poking around for something else to try. We'll see!
