I am asking those who grow a lot from seed. I have many small seedlings that I want to pot up, baby and hopefully bring to the RU this spring. What techniques work as far as transplanting etc? Also, what kind of soil do you use? I want the least amount of shock to the tender little plants.

Handling seedlings
I usually try to take them after a rain or at least on a cloudy day. I usually don't move seedlings to the flower bed right away, I pot them first and keep them moist and in the shade.
When they have developed roots I set them out where I want them and they do very well.
