Is this just a grackle? It's part of a huge mixed flock of grackles, red-winged blackbirds and at least one Bronzed Cowbird. I am also pretty sure I saw a male Brewer's in this group too, but did not get a pic of it, so this flock has some interesting stuff in it. Even had a grackle with white tail feathers and a yellow bill. Anyway, which bird is this one?
CLOSED: Which Blackbird?
Immature/female Common Grackle for me - fairly long tail and stout bill; female Brewer's also (usually) has a dark eye.

That's what I thought but also thought it might be a juvi male Brewers, but they have dark eyes too huh? An adult male Brewers landed 10 ft. from me while I was outside without the camera and there was no doubt in my mind that it was not a grackle, so I was pretty sure this was a grackle. Couldn't pinpoint the reasons like you did though.
Thank you, thank you!
