At least I assume it's a butterfly. Or a moth? Anyway, I've seen these ALL OVER my mystic spires salvia and porterweed recently.

oh one of my favorites! they have the most interesting flight. did you get a chance to see the top side? they have a nice shiny blue coloring.
Yes! They're all over the place. I've seen them from all angles. SO many of them.
