We got a new kitten, Salem. She's adorable, cuddly, and we love her. Problem is that even though she uses the litter box, she poops in the dining room. We have throughly cleaned the area and used a spray made to remove phermones and any residual scent. She has been scolded. When we catch her we take her immediately to the litterbox. Any ideas? I've never had a cat do this once they started using the litterbox, unless they were sick or couldn't get to it.
