Baby Rita Prickly Pear 'Baby Rita' (Opuntia santa-rita x basilaris)
Kell,
There is strong evidence that there is a mix-up with the parentage of these photos of "Baby Rita" you have posted.
Because neither O. santa-rita or O. basilaris have long spines like these pictured. Also, the pads would be much larger.
I don't recognize this hybrid either.
The hybrid could contain some O. gosseliniana which has spines. (which is very often confused as being O. santa-rita)
Or some O. macrocentra (which also has long spines and is purplish in color)
But as far as what the other parent(s) are, who knows?.

How did you arrive at the cultivar name , and also the grex name (parentage)?
Xeno.
If it was O basilaris maybe it was the 'brachyclada' variety which has dwarf pads.
Hi Xeno! I didn't get to sending out my cards this year so Happy New Year! Hope you have a GREAT one!
The plant tag had the cultivar name. When I searched for it in PFs up came this entry already in. I figured there was only one Baby Rita. I do not know who made the entry of this plant into PlantFiles to know where they got the full name.
These pads are very small.
Here is the tag.
Oh look. Daylily Hill Nursery in Bonsall, California says it is their hybrid. They call it Opuntia basilaris hyb. 'Baby Rita"
http://www.daylilyhill.com/old_Site/subsublevel.php?id=249&lid=13 Their pic has the long spines too.
Monrovia is selling it too.

OK, The small pads could have come from the 'brachyclada' variety. But I suspect the spines came from O. gosseliniana var. duranzilla, seeing as how O. gosseliniana' is very often confused with O. santa-rita.
Either way, I will see about getting the grex name removed, seeing as how neither one of those sites that Kell listed give a full grex name. They just say "O. basilaris hybrid."
Oh, and Happy New Year to you too.
