I was given several and want to move them out of the plastic containers into terra cotta pots but I don't know what type of soil to use. Do they like well draining soil with lots of lava like I use for my cactus and succulents? Thanks for any assistance. Xuling
what type of soil do epiphylums like?
Cactus mix works very well for Epies. They do need fast drainage.

If I used cactus mix, I would add some vegetative matter to the mix for epies, Wood chips mixed with cut up oak leaves added to your mix would be great,. bob
