I dont believe I found Mary and she asked about all of you by name. Also she has been wanting to crash a Roundup and wanting to know if we still have them.I got so excited, I didn't take time to respond before I had to tell you guys. She is alive and well except for a little back problem. Mary little grand daughter is five years old now, she spend a lot of time with her. I think she was the first, remember her being so excited about it? Dmail her... she would love to hear from you.

Got A Dmail from Maggiemoo (Mary)
I dont know why I didn't share Maggie's Dmail with you guys. It really all about you and i could never replicate her feelings to you.
Mary I cam across a picture of of you and I. I was so sick with my hip and on so many pain pills at that time, you probably thought of I was really weird.
I just could not get you off my mind. I posted a picture of you and i on the Texas Gardening Thread to see who remembered your handle. I told them you were responsible for getting into Texas Gardening.
I hope you are still around, get in touch with me if you are.Every body misses you.

Sylvia! Of course I didn't think you were weird! At least, not any weirder than we all are, lol! I look over those pictures from time to time myself, and miss you all so much!!! I ran into Dave & his family and Marilyn last Spring at The Arbor Gate in Tomball. Dave was speaking (I didn't even know, I was just there with a friend!) and Marilyn got there late due to a traffic snarl. I didn't even know that Dave was no longer with Dave's Garden at all, until he told me! Are most of the TX people still around? (Frostweed? Silverfluter? Patrob? Sheila_FW? Bettydee? So many others I can see their faces but don't remember their user names....) Do you guys still have roundups? Every Spring I think about "crashing" a roundup- if I knew when and where it would be and was sure I would even know someone!
My garden is a horrible mess after several years of neglect. My back had gotten so bad I could hardly do anything at all. But I have been going to a chiropractor now and am doing SOOO much better. I'm really looking forward to taking back the garden, little by little. My grandgirl, Ella, is now 5 years old! She loves playing in the garden- even in it's current state- and said she will help me work on it. We did manage to plant some carrots last Spring, I wanted her to see where her food comes from (she's vegetarian.) I'm now a VERGetarian- I'm on the verge of being a vegetarian, lol!
Thank you so much for writing, I love getting to connect with you again! I'll bet your picture is from this trip to Martha's Bloomers in Navasota, the day after our roundup in College Station in April 2006. :-)

Mary its so good to hear from you! I got so excited, had to make post to the gang before I responded.:) Is this the granddaughter you were so excited about before we last saw you? I cant believe its been five years! So whats going on with your son, has he decided to settle down and conform yet? If I remember correctly you had some issues with that. LOL!
Mary We are at the age where everything on our body is going bad. I just had a another hip replacement on the right side this time. I tell myself i will be so glad when I get back to normal, but will I? Or is this another patch job? I want to get some work done in my garden so bad. I was in and out the hospital the whole month of November. When I got home I had Vertigo so bad I could not stand up, my neighbors took me to the emergency room, they admitted me again for five days and sent me to rehab for another five days. Meantime one of those falls put a crack in the new hip.Anyway I decided to live with it. LOL
Do you know my friend Linda (Smockette)? She lives in Magnolia, not far from Conroe. Things got so rough for me the last two years I started to move down there with her. I still might do that, but I want pygmy goats, she is not so sure about the goats. LOL
When you come to roundup you will know everyone. All the people you mention are still around and there is a few more regulars, but it is still a lovely group of garden people. That's what gardening is all about. Right?
I am going to have Sheila d mail you the roundup info ... bring your granddaughter
would love to see her.
... and yes your picture is from the same group.:)
I dmailed Mary some time back but haven't heard from her, but I did try.
Josephine.
Try her again Josephine, I am sure she will love hearing from you. She mention you in her email.
