I saw this flock of birds briefly. There appear to be two distinct different species? Loons and Ruddy Ducks?

The prominently white coat and longer necks birds appear to have left the flock. Only the Ruddy ducks here, perhaps?

It looks like you may have Western Grebe (in the first photo) and Ruddy Duck.

Western Grebes? Wooohooo, they traveled all the way from the West?

I can't say with 100% certainty. Someone else may have another opinion.

Ruddy Ducks in all the pics, also two Horned Grebes in the first pic.

Western Grebe is much larger, longer-necked and slimmer-bodied.
