My MIL is an avid water gardener and I'd love to get her something related for a Christmas gift...but the catch is she lives in Chile and will be here for the holiday's. So it has to be something that will be able to be shipped home or taken in a suitcase. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. BTW she reads fluently in english so books are fine.

lol she lives in the middle of nowhere Chile, *G* and I think she is her favorite nursery. She's one of those incredibly talented people who can get anything to grow, graft or propagate. She's who other people call when they need water plants in the the south of Chile. *LOL* and I can't keep a silk plant alive.
I like ebay gift cards, so I can pond shop online. :)
I don't know if it is transportable, but I'd love a hardy water lily. Possibly order online from an international vendor who sends to SA.
