A new area to garden

This is the area to which we will be adding new raised beds next spring.

Do you think there are enough leaves? They are literally knee deep!

Lucky you.
I will also be adding a new raised bed. I made a deal with my DH: i am giving him some area of my garden in the shade that nothing grows and it is perfect for his pets and he is giving away a few sqf of his pet area that is in full sun for me .... yeeaahhhhh

drthor - sounds like a win-win arrangement. The pets will prefer the shade and the veggies will grow well in the sun.
