Hey,
Do y'all think I have a chance in winning the contest with these Brugs....LOL...These are really my cuttings for next spring..this is how I store them for the winter and then I don't have to deal with them until I'm ready.
Sure contest winner
Gloria
that is the only pic you need to enter I am sure there a winner;o)......................LOL
Irish,
Isn't that a beauty? I think they should win an award for the ones with the most branches. LOL
Are they sitting in dirt or water???
What keeps those from setting roots and new growth during the winter??
Owen
The Brug canes are in dirt.
If they do start putting on new leaves I just keep them picked off...they will root somewhat but not enough in 3 months to worry about..guess it's the cooler temps that keep them in check. I will start making new plants the first of February and I can either plant or give away the new ones by mid March.
Sure glad you posted this one. Besides being a contest winner it is good to know that I don't have to put those cuttings in individual pots from now on. Will save me a lot of space. Thanks Gloria!! :-)
Shirley
Glory,
I think you have a winner. I have about 5 to a pot personally. I try to give them just enough room to start some roots, but thats about it. I know others that crowd many more in pots than I do though. Not sure anyone does as many as you do though.
Now I don't feel so bad about shoe-horning mine!
